How did Smite got to the finals?
Smite is living to its potential. These guys are motivated and they know how to work together. They have everything. The whole flight is strong. Only cakeeater is inactive. The rest of the racers are some of the most active and prolific racers in HONT. They easily won the top spot in the qualifiers. Then, they won against Claw (which is led by a superstar but which is horribly lacking depth in its lineup). Smite is now ready to complete the job and face the underdogs.
How did Forge got to the finals?
A few days before the Hammer Cup, there was not much hope for Forge. Everyone thought that they would get eliminated quickly in the qualifiers. But at the very last instant, a racer named Ashes joined HONT and was assigned to the red flight. This new addition gave hope to the other strong Forge member named IwillPayYouIfyouRace. This duo proved to be explosive. Ashes was an absolute legend, amassing 288 races in the qualifiers while Iwillpayyouifyourace completed 204 races. This was enough to pass ahead of Thor and Claw and qualify for the semifinals. In the semifinals, they faced Maul in an epic battle and the Ashes/IwillPayYouifyourace duo once again dominated. Ashes completed 562 races and Iwillpayouifyourace completed 491 races. DH arrived in the very last instants to secure the victory.
