Maul is Hont's blue flight and is often symbolized by a dragon. Its leader is Nusakan.

Flight history

Maul is one of the original four flights. Notable racers in this flight (past or present) includes: Nusakan, Lou, Cycix, VortexM, Testy68 and others.

During Hammer Cup III, Forge and Maul faced each other in the semifinals. The contest was so epic and closely disputed (and ultimately won by Forge) that it gave birth to an exciting rivalry between these two flights.

Name, logo and symbolism

A Maul is a type of hammer often used for splitting wood. At first I was not sure about the name Maul but it slowly grew on me and now I love it! It sounds awesome and is fun to say. The decision to associate Maul with the blue flight was not deliberate. It just happened this way. Also, the dragon which is now the blue flight symbol happened by accident. Like for the other flights, Maul logo was generated with an AI and I never told the AI to include dragons... but it did anyway! When I saw the result I was sold.
