Hammer Cup II
The second edition of the Hammer Cup was held from February 5th to February 9th 2024. The format was a bit different this time. First of all, Smite (purple) became a main flight. Mine, Iron Ore, Tomahawk, Sledge and Blacksmith were called "farm flights" and had their own tournament running at the same time.
This means that there were 5 flights in the qualifiers instead of 6, and only one would not make it to the semifinals. Also, contrary to Hammer Cup I, all rounds were endurance based, meaning that the number of races alone was used to determine the rankings. In Hammer Cup I, the semifinals and finals rankings were based on number of points.

Qualifiers
Smite finished 1st, followed by Maul, Thor, Claw and Forge. Forge was thus eliminated from the tournament.
Semifinals
Thor got the best of Maul in the semifinals while Smite won over Claw.
Finals
In a miraculous comeback, the #3 seed Thor defeated #1 seed Smite, allowing the previously quiet yellow flight to win its first not just cup, but comp ever. Two golds were also awarded during this, thanks to two generous donors. One racer from each final flight received a gold, and both of the final flights received large nt cash prizes, with Thor receiving the bigger prize.
