Flight history

Before the creation of farm flights, the black flight was simply not used.

Then after Hammer Cup I came the idea of farm flights. Blacksmith was the farm flight of Claw. The green flight could recruit any racer from Blacksmith at any time as well as demote inactive racers back to Blacksmith.

When farm flights were abandonned shortly after Hammer Cup II, Blacksmith stopped being used completely.

Name, logo and symbolism

A blacksmith works with hammers, enough said! It is a great name that sounds good and fits easily with our hammer theme. As you can guess, the fact that the word contains "black" is the reason why it was attributed to the black flight. Now for the logo I wanted to show a blacksmith striking an anvil with his hammer, without actually showing facial features. I wanted a night backgroud with stars. And here is the result! While Iron Ore exudes a sublime feminine vibe, this one clearly has a masculine one. It conveys strength and craftmanship in a very succint and convincing manner.
